Glass Filled Nylon Motor Housing

HMTooling supplied two impression fully hardened tool to produce this special housing.

   The moulding is made from Glass Filled Nylon incorporating a moulded in bearing. The bearing is loaded onto a special core pin prior to the mould tool closing. The tool then shuts around the bearing stopping any plastic from moulding onto the bearing surfaces. The material is fed by a three plate system leaving a small gate scar as can be seen.
