Air Valve moulding

Hmtooling designed and manufactured a 1+1 impression fully hardened Tool. The tool used several sliding cores to produce the inside bores and the valve slot.  The moulding is made from 30% glass filled nylon. Because of the thick sections involved the part is jigged to stop the slot distorting. The Small part is snapped into the slot on the body moulding. Two pegs allow the moulding to pivot which inturn restrict or opens the air flow flowing through the body. The o seal is on both sides of the valve moulding stopping any loss of air via the slot.
