Motaway optical moulding

 HMTooling supplies optical mouldings for use in motorway signs. Different front optical lenses are used for different signs.

 The optics are first proved in a dedicated prototype tool. The optics vary depending on the signs position and use. Once the optics have been defined they are machined into a 20 imp stripper plate. This plate then fits into a 20 impression hot runner tool. This enables the expensive hot runner and parabola slides to be used for several mouldings.
