HMTooling supplied tooling and mouldings in polypropylene. The Tool incorporates a fully automatic unscrewing function by means of its own hydraulic motor. The cores are fully hardened to guarantee the tooling, part quality and function. The thread was machined oversize then re-cut to fit the finished blow moulded body. The cap uses a single central hot to fill. This ensures the part is filled evenly reducing the chance of trapped air and leaving a minimal gate mark. Because the volumes are not very high two holes are drilled into the caps after moulding. one hole is for venting the other is for attaching a safety chain.
